OK, I admit it...the picture is far from good. However, I will share it because I loved the message on it:
¨Hi, I´m Mili I love dogs¨
¨Don´t abandon them¨
My heart melted when I saw it.

PAWTERNITY
Today I have to do the most difficult thing ever: post a free entry.
It is easier of course when we are given the parameters and someone tells us exactly what to do. Well, this is not the case.
I spent the whole day trying to think about what to share with you and I remembered when I entered the teacher training college (long long ago). In my first year writings, I couldn't write about anything but missing dogs/cats finding a new home (poor Miss G how much have I tortured her...). However, along second year that bad habit disappeared. Of course, it wouldn't last...when we were asked to write a short story in third, I returned to my "comfort zone" (hopefully enough my teacher loved the story - the fact that I made fewer mistakes had nothing to do (? -)
So... as bad habits are difficult to overcome today's post is about pets!! What a surprise, right?
I came across an incredibly interesting article about PAWTERNITY. I can't understand how this concept wasn't coined before.
In the article, it is said that adopting a dog or cat is very similar to having a new baby and I totally agree. Our lives change forever the moment we decide to enlarge the family (no matter if the new member has its body covered with fur or not) We have to adapt our house (put wires out of reach for example), rearrange our timetable, understand that our needs aren't important anymore (if the puppy wants to play no matter what the time is or how tired you are, you have to play), etc
As I have said, this article is about Pawternity. An amazing detail about this is that some companies (at least 3) give their workers 2 weeks off when they adopt a pet
(let's start asking our legislative power to sanction a law about this!) I don't want to spoil the article so I leave you the link below.
Ps: If you don't have one, make yourself a favour and adopt a pet or two.
